Lynda Carter is an actress chiefly known for her role as Wonder Woman on the eponymous 1970s TV series
After entering a local beauty pageant, Lynda Carter went on to win the title of Miss USA in 1973. Shortly afterward, Hollywood came knocking. Carter studied acting in New York and began making guest appearances on such TV shows as Starsky and Hutch. But it was her role as Wonder Woman in 1975 that made her a recognizable star and kept her in the public eye.
Lynda released her first album entitled "Portrait" in 1978. Later releasing the Jazz type LP "At Last" in 2009, the album peaked at a respectable #6 on the Jazz charts. Recently, she released her third album called "Crazy Little Things".
Carter has performed her cabaret show at the York Hotel's Plush Room in San Francisco, & the Catalina Jazz Club in Los Angeles, The Garrick Theatre London.
A long-time supporter of the Democratic Party, she is also good friends with Hillary Clinton and endorsed her 2016 Presidential campaign.
